The Compounders Group recognized David Creecy of Poquoson Compounding & Gifts as the recipient of the inaugural TCG STAR Award at their 8th annual Members Only Seminar in Cleveland, OH late this summer.
The Special Thanks and Recognition (STAR) Award, sponsored by Spectrum Pharmacy Products, was created to recognize an outstanding pharmacist or friend of the profession who exemplifies compassionate and considerate service. Rich Moon, one of TCG’s founders was joined by Rick Tapia from Spectrum. Moon shared with the group what an easy choice this year’s award recipient was. “David Creecy is a true example of what a consummate professional is. He is what every patient wants in a pharmacist. Time after time he has gone to the mat for his patients and his profession, advocating on behalf of both groups.” A fixture at TCG’s Members Only Seminar, Creecy was visibly shocked to hear his name being called. “I am humbled to be receiving this award. What an honor to be recognized for doing something that I love.”
A special thank you to Spectrum Pharmacy Products for their generous sponsorship of the STAR Award. Elizabeth Ferguson-Brown, Vice President at Spectrum, said sponsoring the award made sense to the company. ”Spectrum is a proud supporter of The Compounders Group and was eager to sponsor this first TCG Star Award. We congratulate David Creecy for his passion for patient care and for his commitment to our industry.”
